Robert Johnson (c. 1583 — c. 1634) was a English composer most known for his collaborations with William Shakespeare. This is one of four surviving almans for lute, and by far the most famous as its a standard teaching piece for classical guitar. I play a four-part harmony arrangement by Steve Hendricks (minus the bass voice), played on a vintage 1915 Luigi Embergher bowlback mandolin, a Mid-Missouri mandolin and an Ozark tenor guitar, multi-tracked using Audacity, Recorded in the middle of a gael-force storm last night, thus the wind noises on the recording.
