Blues Guitar Lessons www.play-blues-guitar.eu Im getting ready to move on from dropped-D, so Im just taking a quick look at some great songs written in this tuning, finishing off with a bit of tuition explaining how Sam Chatmon played Brown Skin Woman in dropped-D. Please note The tab might not be perfect – Im just trying to give a way of approaching this wonderful old stuff, and working towards our goal. What is our goal? Well, to have fun, really. Happy Pickin Cheers Jim

  1. Thanks for the reply. I use the Martin light SP also .. after experimenting around settled on those, although the ‘pinging’ is even more pronounced ‘plugged in’.

  2. will you make more songs and videos with Ken?

  3. Castles in the Air was a great cover Jim .. how about some tabs 🙂

  4. These are Martin Light SP, but the treble strings ‘ping’ a little. I alternate between these and Mediums.

    Cheers
