  1. Privettracker,
Love your guitar playing, Can you try to figure out all the leads from am I losin by Lynyrd Skynyrd . I don’t think its very hard but I hit a wall trying to figure it out.
    Thanks Alot

  2. Brilliant lesson PT. Very clear. I primarily use that box being the level I am, but great ideas on how to make it more interesting. Cheers.

  3. Yes, but just mix the Am pentatonic with any notes of the C major scale (to make the A Aeolian).

  4. privettricker – thank you VERY much for this lesson! I’ve been playing for years and years as a songster/chorder and have even emulated Clapton solos via tablature convincingly, but never understood what was going on. You are the man! Great explanation. I am forever grateful.

  5. I could definitely hear trace of Jimmy Page and since I’ve been living you in there. Great vid privet!

  6. excellent , saved you to my toolbar.. yes I am going to start with that little box, stay in the box with you until going up with it. thanks

  7. You sound like Izzy Stradlin man, the guitar player for Guns N Roses

  8. Mr Privettricker Thank you for this amazing lesson, now i can i play a bunch of solos, really you are my favorite teacher!! thank you so much!!

  9. Privettricker, thanks so much for this lesson. This was really where I needed help. I can play the notes, but I was unsure "where to go." The best part was seeing how you put the set of notes/boxes together.

  10. On the 72 tour, they played Love in Vain in G. Mick T generally solo’d back and forth between minor and major pentatonic.

  11. PT – way to go here. I sent this to my grandson, who wanted to learn "how to figure out what notes to play" when soloing over a I-IV-V.

BTW – sent you an email (with vid) a while back… ever get it?

  12. I should have said licks in future lessons with minor chord progressions.Yes I see your instruction for this lesson you demonstrate that note on 3rd string 6th fret.Your chording for this video is with dom.7th and 9ths.Your a very accomplished player with both minor progressions and 7th progressions which is why I threw that out there.

  13. In the A minor blues there is a chromatic note on the G string (3rd string) at the 6th fret.I have read its the third of the A major scale. It can give blues licks a real gritty feel if thats what your after.Show us a gritty lick using this note,if you please.

  14. kad ovo gledam dobijem želju da si kupim gitaru 🙂

  15. Privet I gotta hand it to ya man. This is as good as it gets. Ya take something I’ve always seen as like a foreign language and make it crystal clear.
